Our Founder Story
“As the founder of Chi&Rose, my journey is deeply personal and driven by a passion for health and wellness. I’ve experienced firsthand the struggles of navigating hormonal health issues, particularly conditions like fibroids, which have disproportionately affected women in my community.”
I built Chi&Rose to empower women to take control of their health by making informed decisions about the products they use. In today’s world, many of us unknowingly expose ourselves to harmful chemicals, particularly endocrine disruptors, which can significantly impact our hormonal health. That’s why I created an app that leverages AI and image recognition to help women quickly identify harmful ingredients in the products they use daily, enabling them to make healthier, more conscious choices that directly benefit their well-being.
My personal experience with hormonal health issues, particularly fibroids, was a powerful motivator for creating Chi&Rose. After undergoing a procedure to remove 16 fibroids, I was driven to find solutions that could help others avoid similar struggles. This led to the creation of Chi&Rose; a tool designed to help women recognize and avoid products containing harmful endocrine disruptors before they lead to more serious health challenges.
The name "Chi&Rose" carries profound significance:
Chi (short for Chinyere) means "Gift of God" in Igbo, a tribute to my mother, whose unwavering strength and inspiration shaped my journey.
Rose (derived from Rosemary) symbolizes resilience, healing, and strength not only to honor my mother but also the countless women who, like her, have been failed by the medical system. Chi&Rose is a tribute to their strength and a commitment to providing the tools they need to take control of their health.
With my background in technology, I’m deeply committed to using innovation to solve real-world problems. Chi&Rose blends cutting-edge technology with a mission to raise awareness and foster an inclusive environment where women can make well-informed decisions about their health. My ultimate goal is to provide women with the tools they need to safeguard their hormonal health, save time, and ultimately live healthier, more empowered lives.
